Our base is conveniently
located about 15 miles outside of Portland, in the town
of Windham, ME.
Portland is a small
city, getting around is easy. It is a fun city to visit,
with an active night scene and a lively Old Port. The
city is about a 2 hour drive north of Boston. The airport
and train station are very close to town. It holds a wide
variety of attractions for people of all tastes. We encourage
you to stay for a few days.
Getting to the Portland Area
Portland
International Jetport receives flights from many major
airlines like American, Continental, Northwest, Delta, and
U.S. Airways. The jetport has daily flights to many large
cities including Atlanta, Washington D.C., Chicago, Cleveland,
and Philadelphia.
The "Downeaster" makes
4 round trips to Boston daily.
I-95 runs right to Portland. Mapquest has
driving directions to Portland. We have provided directions
to get to our base in Windham.

Pick-up and drop-off arrangements from area motels, B&B's,
and the airport and train station, can be arranged. If
you are interested in renting a vehicle, the following rental

The rendezvous point for most Maine MultiSport trips
is our base of operations in Windham. This will provide
a staging area for you to meet your guides, meet the other
folks on your trip and go over any last
minute details for the trip. We have ample room
for you to securely store your luggage or vehicle. We also
have a picnic pavilion, rustic accommodations, a bathroom,
and shower facilities.
